Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups raw pecan halves Skip other ingredients and skip to slats if making roasted pecans.
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp water

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
  • Prepare the Coating:
  • Skip this step if making roasted pecans. Add the vanilla extract, light brown sugar, cinnamon, maple syrup, salt, and water in a medium bowl. Mix well to combine.
  • Coat the Pecans:
  • Add the raw pecan halves to the bowl.
  • Stir until all pecans are evenly coated with the sugar mixture.
  • Arrange in the Air Fryer:
  • Place a piece of parchment paper at the bottom of the air fryer basket.
  • Spread the coated pecans in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Air Fry:
  • Cook the pecans for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time.
  • Check for doneness and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes if needed, but be careful not to burn them.

Notes

For Roasted Pecans - The only ingredients needed are the raw pecans and salt.
Use every other ingredient on the list for candied pecans.
