Dinner Rolls
These soft and fluffy homemade dinner rolls are made with bread flour, eggs, and butter for a rich, tender bite. Perfect for holidays or everyday meals.

- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 medium eggs
- 5 cups bread flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 cup 1 stick softened butter
- 2 teaspoons oil
Combine warm milk, yeast, and 1 tsp sugar. Let sit (skip if using instant yeast).
Mix in eggs, sugar, flour, and salt for 2 minutes.
Knead 2 mins, add butter and knead 4 mins more.
Knead at higher speed or by hand until dough is smooth.
Transfer to greased bowl, cover, and rise 1–1.5 hrs.
Punch down, shape into rolls, place on tray.
Cover and rise again for 40–60 mins.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 18–20 mins until golden.
- You can add 50 g powdered milk ½ cup and skip using liquid milk. That will be 1/2 cup powdered milk and 1 cup warm milk.
- Add ½ cup sugar if desired.
