Ingredients
  

  • Avocados: 2 ripe avocados
  • Unsweetened Soy Milk: ½ cup
  • Panko Breadcrumbs: ½ cup
  • All-Purpose Flour: ¼ cup
  • Salt and Pepper: To taste

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Avocado: Halve the avocados, remove the pits, and peel. Slice each half into wedges. Ensure slices are thick enough to handle without breaking.
  • Set Up Dredging Stations: Arrange three shallow bowls:
  • First bowl: Flour for the initial coat.
  • Second bowl: Soy milk for dipping.
  • Third bowl: Panko breadcrumbs mixed with salt and pepper for the final coat.
  • Bread the Avocado Slices: Dredge each wedge in flour, dip in soy milk, then coat thoroughly in the panko mixture.
  • Cook:
  • Air Fryer Method: Arrange the coated avocado slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  • Oven Method: Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) until crispy, about 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Serve: Serve your crispy avocado fries hot with a side of chipotle mayo, vegan mayo, or your favorite dipping sauce.
