Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Medium bowl

Ingredients

  • 600 g 21 oz can of potatoes
  • 1 tsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • Seasonings of choice: Garlic powder and ginger were used for this recipe.

Instructions

  • Prep the Potatoes: Drain and rinse the canned potatoes thoroughly, then pat them dry with a paper towel. Removing excess moisture will help them crisp up better in the air fryer.
  • Season the Potatoes: In a bowl, lightly dust the potatoes with all-purpose flour, ensuring they are evenly coated. Add your desired seasonings, such as garlic powder and ginger, or other spices you prefer.
  • Add Oil: Drizzle the olive oil over the potatoes and gently toss them to ensure they are evenly coated with the oil and seasonings.
  • Air Fry the Potatoes: Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (390°F). Place the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket or on a pan within the basket. Cook for 20 minutes, shaking the basket or flipping the potatoes halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  • Check for Crispiness: After 20 minutes, check the potatoes. They should be golden brown and crispy on the outside while tender on the inside. If needed, air fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Notes

Note that you might need to cube the bigger potatoes for even cooking.
