Pigs in blankets

These classic pigs in blankets are made with sausages wrapped in bacon and brushed with honey for a caramelized finish. They're easy to make, perfect for holiday spreads, and can be customized with different sausage types and spices.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup small sausages about 2 inches long
  • 10 –12 strips bacon
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Pinch of Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Slice bacon strips in half lengthwise.
  • Wrap each sausage in a strip of bacon, overlapping slightly.
  • Line a baking dish with parchment paper and place the wrapped sausages in a single layer. B
  • rush each with honey using a silicone brush. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp and cooked through.
  • Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper, if desired, and serve warm.
