Today, I am excited to share how I reheat potatoes in the air fryer. This is one of the most convenient and easiest foods to prepare in my air fryer. I enjoyed having my air-fried potatoes with crispy chicken or reheated chicken!

Reheating my potatoes has been one of the best uses of my air fryer! It makes them crispy on the exterior and fluffy on the inside!

Reheating potatoes in an air fryer is a great way to retain their crispiness and flavor. To reheat your potatoes in the air fryer, spray the basket with oil, preheat the air fryer for 2-3 minutes to 350°F (175°C), and pour the potatoes into the basket. Bake for 5 – 7 minutes, shake halfway through.

You can reheat any potatoes in the air fryer. I have enjoyed reheating red potatoes and baked potatoes.

Preheat the Air Fryer

Turn on your air fryer and set it to 350°F (175°C). Allow it to preheat for 2 minutes. Preheating ensures even reheating of the potatoes.

Prepare the Potatoes

Consider slicing the potatoes into halves or quarters if they are large or whole. This will help them reheat more evenly.

Lightly brush or spray them with oil to restore moisture and prevent them from becoming too dry. This step is optional but can enhance the taste.

Arrange in the Air Fryer

Place the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Ensure there’s some space between each potato for proper air circulation.

Reheat

Cook the potatoes for about 5 – 7 minutes. Then, shake the basket or turn the potatoes to ensure even reheating.

Continue to cook for another 3-4 minutes or until they’re heated through. The exact time might vary based on the air fryer model and the size of the potatoes.

Remember that the length of time to reheat your potatoes in the air fryer will depend on the type of potatoes (chips or baked potatoes)

Check and Serve:

Check one of the potatoes to make sure it’s adequately reheated. If not, you can place them back in for another minute or two.

Once done, serve immediately.
